Sixteen brave souls headed into the Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserve under the guidance of the Tropical Audubon Society.  Before we were defeated by winds of 20-25 knots, we had some serious fun learning to deal with sea kayaks, foot pedal-controlled rudders and the beautiful mangroves.   Brown Pelicans flew by at almost eye level, but the real thrill was the flockof 27 Black-necked Stilts that stayed with us for a personal air show.
